Hypnos Consulting is an initiative designed to improve access to anesthesia providers in a time in which efficiency and resources must be maximized.
Jonathan E. Alvarado, ARNP, CRNA
Managing Partner
Co-founder and Partner. Jonathan is a native from Guayaquil, Ecuador where he obtained his early education. Jonathan attended Florida International University and Barry University in Miami obtaining a degree in Nursing Anesthesiology. He currently provides anesthesia services in Providence Regional Medical Center in Washington state as an independent CRNA. Jonathan has practiced anesthesiology in a variety of settings across the country and has extensive experience in cardiothoracic, obstetric, and regional anesthesia as well as interdisciplinary collaboration and departmental culture.
Peter Derrick, MD
Managing Partner
Co-founder and Partner, Peter was born and raised here in Seattle, Washington.
He graduated from Franklin High School and attended the University of Washington and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. From there he travelled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to attend Drexel University College of Medicine and earned a Medical Doctor degree. Next was an internship at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. Anesthesiologist training was done at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Derrick then returned home to the Pacific Northwest and has been an anesthesiologist at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington. He currently works at both Providence Regional Medical Center Everett and Boxbar Vascular in Seattle, Washington.
Personally, Peter is married to Ellen Derrick and has five children and a puppy. He enjoys family, friends, sports and work.
